Hubi Property (“Hubi”) runs hubiproperty.com, a listings site for homes and land in Somaliland. This page explains what we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.

If you are browsing

You do not need an account to search, view or save listings. We collect:

• Saved homes, which stay on your own device. We do not receive them.
• WhatsApp taps. When you tap Ask on WhatsApp we record which listing, the time, your country and browser type, and a scrambled fingerprint of your internet address. This lets agents see how many people asked about a listing and stops spam. We do not see or store your WhatsApp messages or phone number.
• Visit statistics, such as which pages are viewed, counted without cookies and without identifying you.
• Your language choice, kept in a small cookie.

If you are an agent

We collect your email address to sign you in, your name, office and WhatsApp number for your profile, and the listings and photos you post. Your name, office and listings are public. Your WhatsApp number is only given to a buyer who taps Ask on WhatsApp on one of your listings. To verify you, we may ask for a photo of your ID, which we use only for that check.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your information. We use a small number of providers to run the site: Vercel (hosting), Supabase (database, sign-in and photo storage), Resend (sign-in emails) and Google Maps (maps). They only process data on our behalf.

How long we keep it

Agent accounts and listings are kept until you ask us to delete them. WhatsApp tap records are kept for up to two years so agents can see their history.
